Assistant Sales Manager - Personal Clients
“Having completed my A levels I wanted the opportunity to be able to ‘learn and earn’ at the same time to continue my personal development. I started working for Clarke Roxburgh in June 2004 as a Trainee Insurance Consultant at the Evesham branch dealing with personal insurances. I gained experience in the role and quickly progressed to become a Personal Insurance Consultant dealing with the day to day running of my own client account.
In April 2007 I was appointed Sales Consultant to mainly concentrate on new business for the branch and then in July 2007 I was promoted to Assistant Sales Manager, Personal Clients at Evesham. My current role primarily includes new business sales including motor and home as well as management duties. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service giving clients that "personal touch" which I feel is so important. I get great job satisfaction knowing that I have made a difference whether it be arranging a new policy for a client, dealing with claims or offering help and advice to clients and colleagues alike. I have successfully completed my Insurance FMA and insurance exams to gain my qualification through the Chartered Insurance Institute."
After 2 years I moved into the Commercial department and around the group gaining knowledge from different people and working at various branches. In April 2008, I was promoted into the position of Commercial Branch Manager at our Droitwich office. My role continues to involve dealing with our commercial customers but I now also have responsibility for managing the operation of the branch, ensuring it runs smoothly. At Clarke Roxburgh we pride ourselves on the service and products we provide to our clients.
